Baking Moments.

This week has been so busy that this afternoon I decided I was going to bake something for dessert. It was a quite random thought and I didn't think it would happen because sometimes when people have amazing ideas they don't happen. I was inspired by the weekly cooking programmes on television and thought that I could do just as good or better than the chefs on television.
I made some chocolate chip cookies which were absolutely delicious. Photos to follow.
I used belgium chocolate which is the best chocolate in the world! Don't you think?
Anyhow I shall continue having "baking moments" and update you all on my amazing products.

London

Well I've had a busy week! I went to London for two days!
I did so much. On the first day we went to the British Library which was really cool as we saw manuscripts from musicians like Wagner. It was amazing! We also saw the magna carta with the seal which was sealed by King John. The most memorable things on display were the beatles original song lyrics written by themselves on scraps of paper (A hard days night)and a handwritten play written by Shakespeare. I felt so priviliged. We stayed in a backpackers' hostel! We went to Oxford Street, Covent Garden and Leicester Square. It was great! We saw "Cabaret" starring Julian Clary and Amy Nuttall (Emmerdale). On the Wednesday we went on the tube and the millenium bridge. We also went to the Globe Theatre and The Tate Modern to see the famous earthquake crack thing. We saw: the London Eye; St.Paul's Cathedral; the Webley Stadium from a distance;

First Day at New College

It was my first day at New College today!
It was really fun and I can't wait for tomorrow!
I met my new form tutor who is my theatre studies teacher which is really good.
I've learnt loads of new names and got my New College ID card which is funny because I look really white faced!
I had a good theatre studies lesson it was really funny and exciting however we did get set homework but it was alright as we got to pick a film and analyse it from an audience member's point of view. I chose "Hairspray" as its the best film ever!

Gooseberries!

This afternoon I have been busy picking gooseberries off out two gooseberry bushes in the back garden. Jonathan helped me a bit after he returned from his busy day at school!
We managed to pick 2 large bowls full of gooseberries- which is an awful lot.
I found it quite fun in the garden picking gooseberries however I did come across a few thorns and ouches!
Two birds provided entertainment as well, even though they kept flying away then coming back!
Tomorrow I am going to tackle cutting the grass with my Dad!
Wow- I do have green fingers! Haha!
I am a mini gardener!!

WOW! WOW! WOW!

Today has been great!!!!
This morning however started off OK when I had an English Language exam! I wrote 8 pages, my hand after the exam was aching though!
After the exam I received my grade 2 Music Theatre certificate. I got 76% which was a merit.
So I was over the moon!

This afternoon my mum told me that I had got 2nd prize in a national flower arranging competition! I did not expect it at all! I said ,"WOW!"
A picture of my work of art is somewhere below this blog, in a previous post!

Last night at Girls Brigade' I was pleased with myself because I was assessed for my Intermediate Young Leaders. I passed with flying colours! I taught the girls a song which I then taught them to do in a three part round! Impressive or what!

I am happy!

*I intend to keep happy and prove everyone else wrong!*

♥This Weekend! ♥

This weekend has been really fun!

On Friday we had an early birthday party for Grandad Thompson in the caravan.

Happy Birthday for tomorrow Grandad!!

Then yesterday we travelled up to Sheffield to see Brian, Chloe, Ruby and Coralie!

We went to the park and had tea. I ♥ pink jelly!!!!

Today we went to Yorkshire Sculpture Park, we saw many of Andy Goldsworthy's sculptures. Here are a few pictures....

Here's Brian.....

This is an Andy Goldsworthy sculpture. It looks really simple yet it is far from simple when you look at it properly. It must take a long time to make such a sculpture!

This is Jonathan, Coralie and I looking at one sculpture.

Its been a great weekend!!!!
