Only 1 day left of 2006!
2007 is going to be a busy year for me, I will do my GCSE exams and start at college!
I am looking forward to 2007 though because even though I'll be sad to leave my secondary school I'll be getting excited about starting college.
I have really enjoyed this year and I hope next year is even better! I don't really make new year resolutions because many people try to keep them however they don't keep them up!
This year I am going to face quite a lot of challenges. I am going to try and compile a performing arts evening with two other friends in April which will require an awful amount of attention!
Happy New Year! (Rabbits!)

4 days to go!
Only 4 days now!
Dad enjoyed himself I think last night! There was NO SNOW! So disappointing!
Dad got volunteered last night by his work mates to act out a scene but luckily he didn't have to in the end!
The weather is OK here, this afternoon there was a blue sky but it is quite cold. By looking at the weather forecast on the television I doubt that there will be snow on Christmas day but then again they said it would snow last night and it didn't!
I have been seeing my friend Sam today, we did a bit of shopping! Tomorrow I'll be seeing my other best friend Leander! I went for a haircut this morning and Jonathan went to get a Christmas tree with Dad.
I can't wait to see all my family next week especially my uncle, aunty and cousins over from America which we haven't seen for 6 years!!

Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!
Just looked at the weather forecast, just as a matter on interest! And unbelievably it forecasts snow showers tonight and for the next couple of days! Poor Dad, on his big night out as well!
Personally I like snow but I don't like staying outside for long when it is or has been snowing, it's too cold!
Dad couldn't believe me when I said, "There's going to be snow tonight". He said to me that I was joking about! He looked astonished when he saw that I was right, there was to be snow tonight!
White Christmas here we come!

5 days to go! by Christina.
5 days to go till the big day! Packages are steadily coming through the letterbox! I can't wait to wake up on Christmas morning and find out what Father Christmas has got me for Christmas! And again we will have to leave on the dining room table the annual present for Father Christmas and Rudolph. The mince pie, sherry and the carrot. I wonder if any of the other reindeer get jealous of Rudolph getting a carrot from every house each year? Surely they must! And how does Father Christmas manage to eat all those mince pies and still look the same build each year? But I can't wait for Christmas and seing what those little elves have being making for me this year!
Dad is being let out of the house tonight for the first time in six years without Mum or any children to go for a Christmas dinner! I think Dad had doubts last night over whether he should go or not! Mum told him that he wouldn't just be eating a Christmas dinner, he would be doing a sing-a-long, acting (maybe!!) as well as other things which I am not going to mention! We will get back to you to tell you how much fun Dad had!! For one more night Dad will be a teenager again!!! Watch out for the next post on our blog!

19th December- by Christina
6 days to go till Christmas day! We have almost done all the Christmas shopping and we are just hoping some of the presents we have ordered online come before Christmas day! As the shops guarantee! Town was really busy this morning, it seemed like everyone was buying last minute Christmas presents. In some shops there were quite big queues. I think its good that this year we didn't have to stand so much in queues to buy Christmas presents, we could just do it all online and have it packaged up and sent to us. But as I now know it's like a waiting game waiting for the parcels to arrive!! Though for me personally I think it is good that we can use the computer to buy goods!
Jonathan and I have 2 weeks off school and I really appreciate it after having 2 weeks of GCSE mock exams! The only results I have had back are my mathematics results, I got a good grade and I am pleased with it! I only have a term left at Ercall Wood, and to be honest I don't really want to leave! I have made some really good friends and learnt so much at Ercall Wood! But on the otherhand I guess I'll find college ok as well and make some new friends and learn new stuff.
I am really looking forward to Christmas!

Christmas Lights on North Road!
16th December 2006

Today Brian, Chloe, Ruby and Coralie came down for the day. We had lots of fun especially playing with Ruby and Coralie. We went to the park which was lots of fun, Ruby, Jonathan and I went on swings, a slide and rocking tractor and elephant!!
Then we went down to Morrisons to get a few bits and pieces, (and bubbles!!) The bubbles were for Ruby! We came back on the bus which was great as you could see everyone's outside Christmas lights on North Road! Chloe prepared a delicious meal and then we had a Christmas cake which Chloe had made and Ruby had decorated. It was very yummy and it had loads of nuts on it and in it! Mmmmm!
