I think you should listen to John Cage's Four Minutes and Thirty-Three Seconds.
It is absolutely amazing and well worth a listen.
I wish I could play it but it takes an awful amount of talent!!
PS. You will be surprised. If you hear it please tell me what you think. It's a world famous piece and has been performed to millions. It was first performed in 1952.
And for the record, I scored a basket in a basket ball game yesterday!!! How amazing.

One Exam Left and Basketball!!
Yay!!!
All my exams so far have been ok though.
I had a one-to-one with my theatre studies teacher today and she said "you've got nothing to worry about" for the next exam - phew!
Least the exam is after half term so I can prepare a bit more during the holidays!
I keep playing basketball with my friends at the moment. It's quite good but today my team (I was team captain!!) lost twice. Odell (one of my best friend's) team won twice. So I was quite annoyed!! (Not really! lol!)
It's funny playing basketball because half the time we break the rules plus we only use half a court. Some of the teachers stand outside watching us at break times (smiling and laughing!!) Least we are keeping fit! Today, I also played football which we also broke the rules in. All the boys didn't give us the football and we (myself and Odell) didn't really want to tackle because we didn't want to hurt ourselves. The boys I am sure were incorporating rugby techniques into the game!?
It was quite funny though. Some of the boys are quite good! Then they (the boys) had an argument over Chelsea and Manchester United (whether one was better than another!) One of my other friends who loves football supports Telford and while there was a big argument over Chelsea and Manchester United I whispered "Beth supports Telford!!" We all started laughing including Beth and that was the end of the argument. Bizaare!!
What is happening to me? I never liked sport at all now I love playing with Odell and the lads!

EXTERMINATE.......
We haven't added to this blog for ages!!
We went to Ulverston over the Easter holidays while the kitchen was being done...
Here are a few photos (see if you can spot the snow on the mountains!!)
Fell Foot.

Jonathan rolled eggs down Hoad Hill on Easter Monday.

Another couple of photos of Fell Foot...

Jonathan cooking...

The Finished products...

We went to the RAF Cosford Museum which was really interesting and guess who were there....

DALEKS!

Maybe the one above isn't so scary!

I wasn't too sure about the huge planes... luckily Doctor Who a.k.a Jonathan was there...

This vehicle was used in snowy places...

It was a great day out... those daleks get everywhere!

London & Birmingham. By Christina.
It's been an extremely busy week for me.
First of all on Tuesday evening I went to Birmingham Symphony Hall to watch a world famous pianist called Kissin (He's German.) and there was a famous russian conductor, I cannot remember his name! The whole orchestra was amazing!! I think that was the first time that I had seen a proper orchestra live!
I also went to London yesterday which was absolutely amazing! We went to the Royal Opera House to watch a schools matinee of "The Magic Flute". The woman who played the Queen of the Night had a breath-taking voice, I've never heard such a great singer. The orchestra again was really really good. I will post a picture of the Royal Opera House sign soon.
I walked down Drury Lane!! I will never forget that moment- seeing the "Drury Lane" sign!!! We also walked past the theatre which is doing "The Lord of the Rings"! How cool is that?
This afternoon I am going to the Town Centre with a couple of friends which should be good.

Baking Moments.
This week has been so busy that this afternoon I decided I was going to bake something for dessert. It was a quite random thought and I didn't think it would happen because sometimes when people have amazing ideas they don't happen. I was inspired by the weekly cooking programmes on television and thought that I could do just as good or better than the chefs on television.
I made some chocolate chip cookies which were absolutely delicious. Photos to follow.
I used belgium chocolate which is the best chocolate in the world! Don't you think?
Anyhow I shall continue having "baking moments" and update you all on my amazing products.

London
Well I've had a busy week! I went to London for two days!
I did so much. On the first day we went to the British Library which was really cool as we saw manuscripts from musicians like Wagner. It was amazing! We also saw the magna carta with the seal which was sealed by King John. The most memorable things on display were the beatles original song lyrics written by themselves on scraps of paper (A hard days night)and a handwritten play written by Shakespeare. I felt so priviliged. We stayed in a backpackers' hostel! We went to Oxford Street, Covent Garden and Leicester Square. It was great! We saw "Cabaret" starring Julian Clary and Amy Nuttall (Emmerdale). On the Wednesday we went on the tube and the millenium bridge. We also went to the Globe Theatre and The Tate Modern to see the famous earthquake crack thing. We saw: the London Eye; St.Paul's Cathedral; the Webley Stadium from a distance;

Jonathan went away with the Boys Brigade over the weekend which I think he enjoyed!
I however had a cold and sore throat all weekend however we went to Coalport China Museum in Ironbridge this afternoon which was quite fun as we painted on paper plates! I love painting!

First Day at New College
It was my first day at New College today!
It was really fun and I can't wait for tomorrow!
I met my new form tutor who is my theatre studies teacher which is really good.
I've learnt loads of new names and got my New College ID card which is funny because I look really white faced!
I had a good theatre studies lesson it was really funny and exciting however we did get set homework but it was alright as we got to pick a film and analyse it from an audience member's point of view. I chose "Hairspray" as its the best film ever!

Busy Weekend
Yesterday we went to Much Wenlock Priory. It was a great day out in a nice setting. Here are a few photos of our visit to the priory. It was really hot and sunny!

We also went to the Much Wenlock Museum.

We didn't realise that the Much Wenlock olympic games were being held!

Last night... Mum, Jonathan and I went to the Oakengates theatre to watch a production of "Annie". It was really good! The best bit for me was when the dog kept wanting to run backstage! Haha!
Today.. its really really wet!! It has been pouring with rain virtually all day so far!
I hope its nice and sunny tomorrow!

Gooseberries!
This afternoon I have been busy picking gooseberries off out two gooseberry bushes in the back garden. Jonathan helped me a bit after he returned from his busy day at school!
We managed to pick 2 large bowls full of gooseberries- which is an awful lot.
I found it quite fun in the garden picking gooseberries however I did come across a few thorns and ouches!
Two birds provided entertainment as well, even though they kept flying away then coming back!
Tomorrow I am going to tackle cutting the grass with my Dad!
Wow- I do have green fingers! Haha!
I am a mini gardener!!

And more photos.........
Here are some more photos that we took this afternoon........

We played a traditional game of hoopla.

Here is Jonathan and I sat waiting in a victorian doctor's surgery.
Take note of what the poster above my head says!! You might have to enlarge the image by simply double clicking on it!

What a great afternoon out and what's even better we didn't have to use a TARDIS!!
